About Me

I've been an HR + Business Operations Specialist for over 12 years; seven solely dedicated to HR/ People & Culture. I love what I do! My background spans diverse creative industries on both coasts, from fashion, music, to food. I value the link between human capital engagement and the financial health of an organization. I feel products and people must coexist together. I’m a generalist, which means I’ve worn all the HR hats. I can dive deep into the world of benefits, run full cycle payroll, for exempt and non-exempt employees, as well as build an executive coaching plan. I seek to understand the root of your needs, then make it happen. My hands-on experience, along with a B.S. in Organizational Behavior and Leadership, has allowed me to coach and support growing ventures in a strategic, transparent and empathetic way. I work with a few inter-city programs that help disadvantaged youth and the incarcerated transition into the workforce. It's a unique channel of recruitment opportunities and gives back to the community. Ask me about it. Every city has these types of programs.

Building processes and policies, which create transparent working environments. I also enjoy coaching employees and managers through difficult situations.

Fun Fact about me

I sew, I screen print and I like to build things. Being creative is my passion. I also co-founded SF HR Hospitality, a collective of over 30 senior level HR professionals in the Bay Area. We come together to stay informed of ever-changing laws that affect the industry. We also educate non-HR folks, helping owners and business managers keep updated on HR law.
